PTA

The PTA plays an important role at Uplands which we invite you to be part of. All parents automatically become members when their children join the school.  The PTA raise funds, hold discos, support school activities, provide prizes and treats for the children and run the occasional social events for parents.

 

Over the past few years our fundraising has enabled us to purchase

 

• Playground shade shelter

• Adventure trim trail

• Playground markings

• Prizes for school competitions

• Easter eggs

• Reading Hub

 

This can only happen with your support. 

 

How can you help?

You can support the PTA  by lending a hand with preparations, helping at discos, running a stall, sourcing potential sponsors, making donations or by simply attending events.

 

If you can give a little more time and would like to help plan and organise events then please join the committee.  The committee meet about once a term in the evenings and these are always pleasant, sociable events.

 

If you wish to get involved then please contact any member of the committee or see any of the staff in the school office who will be happy to pass your details on to the PTA.
