In 2024-25 the OutRight campaign was all about amplifying children’s voices and encouraging them to take action. As part of the campaign we learned about democracy in the UK and invited our local MP, Warinder Juss, to visit school to learn more about children’s rights and to answer our questions on issues around children’s rights that we consider important. It was a successful visit and Mr Juss was very impressed with how articulate and well informed the children were. Later on in the project we decided to focus on litter as a local campaign issue and created some anti-litter posters which we have asked local shops to display.
