Updates for parents

A few updates for you as parents:

All children will receive a written school report for this year as they always do. The information is correct as of March 2020. These will be distributed some time after half term-you will receive a text telling you that your child’s report has been posted.

In past years we have re-grouped classes at the end of Year 4. The children have always had an input into this and we have been able to make sure that they move to Year 5 with at least one friend. I have decided that this will not happen this year and all classes will return (when we know what that looks like) as they are now. I feel that it is best for their well-being to return to the same class that they were in when we closed in March. Some children will be aware that we normally do this and I don’t want them to feel anxious about a possible mixing up hence my reason for informing you at this point.

If you have a child in Year 2 then please don’t worry about transition-this is going to be both mine and Mr Edmunds priority for after half term once we have got Reception, Year 1 and Year 6 back into our respective schools. We have some ideas and we will be in touch after the holiday.
