Letter from Miss Richard

Hey 6LR,

As if it has been over 6 weeks since I last saw and spoke to you all. Some weeks the days have flown by but some weeks the days have dragged massively. I am missing you all very much: missing our little laughs and catch ups; missing our reading time together and missing seeing all your faces every day. I have been into school a few times but it is just not the same without you all there…way too quiet. I hope you are all well, keeping safe at home with your families; completing your home learning and been enjoying the sunny weather (I have actually stepped foot in my garden and spruced it up a bit; along with some sunbathing time).

Other than spending time in the garden, I have taken up running again seeing as I can’t go to the gym or teach my spin classes at the moment and been doing some home workouts; become an obsessive cleaner (vacuum cleaning to be precise) and you’ll all be happy to know…I am learning how to cook. And I mean cook actual meals!! I know right… can you believe it! I can now cook burritos, different pasta dishes, Spanish chicken in the slow cooker and this week I made my first ever vegan curry. If I do say so myself, it was delicious.

I have also been lucky enough to have received an early birthday present and had a new smart watch to help track my running and exercise so that is keeping me busy but might need some of you to help me when we get back to school to utilise it as best as possible: give me some top tips.

I hope that you are all well and been spending this time working hard, with family and keeping in contact with your friends. It would be lovely to hear from you. If you want to, let me know what you have been up to and how you’ve been using all this time.

Remember to keep smiling, stay safe and not to worry. I will be seeing you all very soon.

Love from Miss Richards x
