For our pupils

To all of our pupils at Uplands,

As we approach the return to school I am certain that many of you will be feeling nervous, worried or anxious-this is ok and perfectly natural and to be expected. It has been many months since we were altogether in our school building and so feelings such as this will be felt by many of you. Many adults will be feeling the same.

I want you to know that we are so excited to be welcoming you back and we cannot wait to see you all. Myself and Mrs Walker will be on the gates on Wednesday morning and it will feel so good to see you our pupils coming back to us.

Next week is going to be all about settling you back in, meeting with friends and enjoying being together. Don't think that you are going to be starting with fractions or long pieces of writing hot tasks! We want you to feel happy and comfortable being back at Uplands.

I want you to enjoy the last few days of the holidays and know that we are here to help and support you as always.

Looking forward to seeing you all on Wednesday.

Mrs Webster-Smith
