Following on from the announcement this evening from Boris I outline the arrangements for tomorrow:
If you today booked and had confirmed a critical worker place for 6LR, 6FG, 5KD and 5NH then your child may begin tomorrow (January 5th) as planned. Please send them in school uniform, with a packed lunch and via the front gate entrance only. Times as they were prior to Christmas (8:30-8:50 drop off) and then staggered departure (Yr5 at 3:10pm and Yr6 at 3:15pm)
For all other classes there will be no school tomorrow but remote learning via Google classrooms will begin at 9am. It is expected that all pupils engage in remote learning and there is a guide on our website homepage under the Google classroom tab (Remote learning guide). We will look at our remote provision and how best we can develop this to support you over the next 6 weeks. If you are having problems logging into Google classrooms please contact us tomorrow
If you require a critical worker place for the other classes please either email or ideally ring school tomorrow before 12 noon. We will confirm places tomorrow afternoon. Ctitical worker places for the other classes will begin on Wednesday 6th January. Critical worker places are for pupils of parents whose job role is critical to the fight against covid e.g. NHS workers, social care workers, carers and education staff. Our spaces are very limited so please if there is an adult at home who can look after your child please keep them at home
All other arrangements will be made and communicated to you tomorrow
Please bear with us as we try and navigate this new situation.
